The Ministry of Agriculture invests 236,000 euros in emergency works carried out in the Natural Way Northwest Greenway (12/11/2013)

The Government delegate, Joaquín Bascuñana, accompanied by the mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras, and the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, inaugurated this morning the emergency section of works done in the Natural Way Northwest Greenway passing through this town following the damage caused by extraordinary rainfall occurred in September the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment commissioned this way, in its section Murcia - Baños de Mula in late 2011 as part of the Program Natural Ways current Rural Development Department and Forestry Policy.

In the area between the campus and Molina de Segura Espinardo have repaired about 3,000 meters of ditches, removing the dredged material from the slopes by mechanical means and has protected a small slope affected by gullies in the area closest to campus.

At the opening of this stretch rehabilitated Ujaldón also attended Henry, director of the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, Juan Soria, Greenways Consortium manager and Mariola Martinez, Councilman Molina Tourism.
