United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace (28/01/2014)

The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura, in the development of the Fourth Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, organized a cultural program of activities to mark the United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace, continuing awareness actions, training, information and participation, with the goal that all people collaborate in the establishment of personal and social relations free of prejudice and stereotypes, based on respect and harmony.

This program will take place between January and May 2014 and has been presented today at a press conference Tuesday, January 28th, by the Councillor for Equality, Reme López Paredes.

Councillor explains, "it is interesting to conduct such meetings, where they accommodate both leisure and recreation, and cultural, and especially exchange of views between the partners of the various associations."

Therefore, it is a very full and varied program, with activities taking place in different parts of town, such as workshops and exhibitions of their activities women's associations throughout the year.

The activities organized by the Department of Equality include: the conference of the Foundation for Medical Research Molina de Segura (FEM), The science that will change our lives: biotechnology, Thursday 30 January at 17.00 am at the College of Education Paseo Rosales, and the awards ceremony of the VII Drawing Contest Growing in Equality, the same Thursday, January 30th, at 19.30 pm in the Meeting Room of City Hall.

Moreover, the House of Andalusia offer a poetry reading, singing and dancing on Wednesday 19 February at 20.00 pm in the Las Balsas Center.

This year's special program on Radio Company, which will be delivered on Friday, February 28th, from 13.00 to 14.00, 98.8 FM frequency was also issued.

The poetry reading Yell Women, organized by Irel Faustina will be held in the Exhibition Hall Garden on March 4, at 17:30.

The XII Meeting of the Association of Women Molina, celebrated on Friday, March 7, at 10.30 am, in the Rambla of whales (San Roque), with the objective of maintaining a day of coexistence among 300 women participants, from the 26 associations that make up the network.

The Institutional Act in the Region of Murcia International Day of United Nations Women's Rights and Peace, will take place at Teatro Villa de Molina, on Saturday 8th March at 10.00.

In addition, the XV Painting Competition closes on delivery on Tuesday March 4, and Tuesday, March 11, at 20.00 pm in the Exhibition Hall Jail, will award ceremony and exhibition will open with the papers.

The poetry reading The Romance of the Association of Literary Women, took place on Friday 14 March at 20.00.

April begins with the presentation of the book Wings of Irel Faustina in the Exhibition Hall Jail on Thursday 3 April at 19.00.

Wings of micro book that has become a trial, which aims to heal in the aftermath of abuse, with the intention of being a kaleidoscope to address this social problem from different points of view and from the experience of author.

The Literary Contest March 8, Poetry and Short Story, close the deadline for the papers on Monday 24 March.

The awards ceremony will be the same on Tuesday, 29 April, in the Plenary Hall of the local council, at 20.00.

Finally, on Thursday, May 29, at the Teatro Villa de Molina, will be the closing and Prom Women Associations of the municipality, with the representation of the work of Smiles theater.

The Councillor for Equality calls "to engage all groups in the municipality and that the development of the program culminates in a success."
