The presentation of the program of charitable activities of the Platform for Social Innovation in Molina de Segura took place today Wednesday, July 9, at the Las Claras Cultural Center Cajamurcia Foundation in Murcia.
Attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, President of Social Innovation Platform (UMU), Violante Thomas, the Director of the Foundation Cajamurcia, Pascual Martínez, Director of Social Innovation Platform (UMU) Victor Meseguer, President of Caritas Interparroquial of Molina de Segura, Pedro Mondejar, and the Red Cross Regional Secretary, José Luis Morera.
The Platform for Social Innovation arises from the Chair of RSC, University of Murcia to establish a regional network of volunteering and social action.
It is a meeting place for proposals from NGOs who need help on the one hand, and on the other, citizens, businesses and administrations that are able and willing to help.
Last year, The Platform organized, among other activities, I Parrandboleros The Solidarity Concert in Auditorio Victor Villegas, with which raised € 30,000 which were intended CEPAIM projects, Red Cross and Caritas.
This year, The Platform organized three activities Molina de Segura, whose proceeds will go to Caritas Interparroquial of Molina de Segura and the Red Cross Local Assembly of the municipality, and shall be held at the Teatro Villa de Molina (box office, ticketing and row zero):
October 30: Sunshine Theatre Workshop Solidario (Theatrical Cía. Herd).
This is an experimental theater show aimed mainly at young audiences.
Price: 10 €.
November 7: The Solidarity Concert II Parrandboleros.
Price: 15 €.
December 12: Stop Flamenca, with Paquito singer molinense + Las Minas Flamenco Tour (international arm of the International Festival of Las Minas).
Price: 15 €.
To the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras, "this is a social project to Molina de Segura who has to incorporate all of society, and has the involvement of all stakeholders."
