Great success at the XXVII National Contest for Young Scientists 2014 being awarded as the BEST RESEARCH CENTER OF SPAIN IN 2014 Secondary Education and Vocational Training.
This event is organized by the Institute of Youth (Injuve) under the Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality and the General Directorate of University policy the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), University of Malaga (UMA), the Royal Spanish Society of Physics, the Scientific Society for Informatics of Spain and the Conference of Directors and Deans of Engineering of Spain.
Five prizes are those who have brought the three center jobs that have participated in this year 2014. The awards were:
- ACCÉSIT EURO 1,000 for work "Physics of the human voice", performed by student Maria Pilar Fernandez Lopez (2nd year Research) and coordinated by Professor Ms. Esperanza Hernandez Palazón..
He has been invited to present his work in Galicia.
- FIRST PRIZE IN ARTS AND HUMANITIES EQUIPPED WITH 4,000 EUROS for work "Can you rebuild a soundscape?
Analysis and proposal work "done by the student Abellán Belen Perez (2nd baccalaureate Research) and coordinated by Professor José Jesús García Hourcade.
He has been invited to submit work in a magazine.
- FIRST PRIZE IN SOCIAL AND LEGAL SCIENCES ENDOWED WITH 4,000 EUROS for work "Am I happy ?.
A study on the reported happiness or subjective well-being of young people in Molina de Segura (Murcia): are happier boys or girls "performed by the students Nicholas and Maria Pilar Vicente Sadir Samah (1 Research School) and coordinated? by Professor Juan Carlos Parra Romero.
- REPRESENTING SPAIN IN THE EVENT CALL XXVII EUROPEAN YOUNG RESEARCHERS (European Contest for Young Scientist, EUCYS 2015) TO BE HELD IN MILAN (ITALY) IN SEPTEMBER 2015: "Am I happy ?.

- Finally an award that recognizes our work in the field of research, HONORABLE MENTION THE CENTER TEACHER WHOSE WORK IS APPRECIATED AS A PARTICULARLY NOTEWORTHY FOR THE SAKE OF BUILDING SCIENTIFIC CULTURE, TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF YOUTH IN IES 2014 for "Francisco de Goya" Molina de Segura (Murcia).
Also by the IES Cardenal Mendoza Burgos are the only centers in Spain that have been selected twice for the European Contest for Young Researchers (European Union Contest for Young Scientists, EUCYS 2015) in the last six years.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL (students and teachers) for awards obtained and the work and effort.
The final phase of the XXVII edition was held from September 28 to October 3, 2014 in the Euro-Latin American Youth Center, CEULAJ in Mollina (Málaga).
A prize and special mention to the center as the best research center in 2014 Secondary Education, Vocational Training School and Spain should be mentioned that of the 346 research papers in Spain who participated in this year only 40 (plus 3 reserves) participated in the finals and 3 have been in our center and a room that has been in reserve.
They have also participated and won prizes other centers of Murcia making our region a national leader in research on teaching middle.
The Murcia centers participating in the 2014 edition were: Francisco De Goya IES (Molina de Segura), IES Alcántara (Sewer), IES Infanta Elena (Jumilla) and IES Juan Carlos I (Murcia).
Congratulations to them all well for their work and effort in promoting Baccalaureate Research and winnings from the XXVII edition.
