Ceramics Urbana exposure molinense artist Juan Antonio García García, organized by the Culture Department of the City of Molina de Segura, will open on Thursday, January 8, at 20.00 pm in the Exhibit Hall The Shutters (Calle Pensioner , No. 3).
At the opening of the exhibition will attend the First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture, Worship Molina López.
The exhibition will remain open until the 15th of February and will be open from Monday to Friday, 17.00 to 21.00.
Urban ceramic is composed of a series of pieces "which according to the artist himself have been making over the years and the constancy of the day. I think these pieces and paintings are not flashy, but sincere, both by origin creative, and the materials in which they are made, the mud, the heat and oxides to achieve color. "
Juan Antonio Garcia notes that "for me the pottery is very interesting, because it does not deteriorate over time. In this exhibition 1977 pieces preserved exactly like the day that I will be".
It also explains that "most of the ideas come when I'm in contact with the materials."
