Molina de Segura hosts several events around the exhibition's educational missions in Spain 1931-1936 (13/01/2015)

The town of Molina de Segura host in the next three weeks of the events planned around the exhibition's educational missions in Spain 1931-1936, organized by the University of Murcia, the JubiladXs and Pensioners Association and the Inter University Museum of Murcia (MUM), in collaboration with other agencies and institutions, such as molinense Hall.

The exhibition is open to the public from January 12 to February 13, in the auditorium of the Museum of the University of Murcia (Old Artillery Barracks, Hall 4), and offers parallel activities both in the city of Murcia, as in Cartagena, Molina de Segura and Cieza.

All activities organized in Molina de Segura be held at the Centro Las Balsas (Calle Cartagena, next to Plaza of Griffins), at 20.00, and are as follows:

January 26: The educational missions conference in the Region of Murcia, by Pedro Luis Moreno Martínez, and performance of the Choir Hims Mola.

February 2: screening of documentaries Patterns of educational missions and Pedagogical missions, Acacia Film.

Monday, February 9: concert and readings by Vicente Palao.

The educational missions were created by Decree of 29 May 1931 and had the following objectives: bring rural areas of the country culture reserved only, then, to urban centers (libraries, museums, cinema, theater, music, choir , puppets);

pedagogical orientation of schools;

"And public education."

They involved a number of intellectuals, writers and artists, which included the Murcia Ramón Gaya, and had broad impact in the Region of Murcia.
