The Municipal Center The shutters of Molina de Segura takes stock of its first year of opening (20/01/2015)

The Municipal Center The shutters of Molina de Segura today celebrates its first year of life.

It was inaugurated on January 20, 2014, is located on Calle Pensioner, and houses the departments of Commerce, Handicrafts and Tourism, the Tourist Office and Exhibition Hall.

From then until now it has had a large number of people.

Since opening, has hosted several exhibitions, all of local artists.

The opening was made by Pepe Yagües with Flesh and banter, followed by St. Local Week, by the Cabildo, Ceará, Trinidad Garcia, B-Side Patron, Molina de Segura.

From black and white to color (1956-1982), Antonio Robles, PatriciaB, Patricia Bermejo, and currently Ceramics Urbana, Juan Antonio García García.

A total of 3,562 people have visited these exhibitions.

The center has also launched the A walk through the History Program, aimed at students of Elementary and Secondary Education of the municipality, an approach to the origins of the Villa visiting Los Shutters and Oven Museum Council and House of Folklore, both located in the Castle District.

So far it has been visited by 21 groups, representing a total of 714 alumni / ae.

As for the Office of Tourism, along 2014 and according to data from the network, have lent a total of 3,855 information services and has served a total of 3,845 face tourists, being the origin of users: 161 national, regional and 68 3,626 foreigners.

Within the program Guided Tours Free, in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism in the Region of Murcia, have been performed Molina Medieval visits, Among Fireplaces and Key Past, Key future, with a total of 289 people across region.

From The shutters are also organized visits to the museums of the town, both school visits and openings to the general public: the first Sunday of the month at Centro La Albarda Rites and Traditions of Golf Molina, 180 visitors;

the second Sunday of the month to Ethnographic Museum Carlos Soriano, 320;

and third Sunday of the month, plus every Saturday afternoon and Sunday, Baked Council and House of Folklore, with 1,065 people.

As pointed out by the Councillor for Tourism, Worship Molina López, "Our goal for this year is to continue the work of promoting tourism in the municipality, provided a consistent quality service."
