The Employment and Training Program CERAMIC C-1 of Molina de Segura, which involved 24 young unemployed reaches its final stage (21/01/2015)

The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Minister of Presidency and Employment of the Region of Murcia, José Gabriel Ruiz González, have made, on Wednesday 21 January, a visit to the unemployed students participating in the Joint Programme Employment and Training Pottery C-1, driven by the local council and the Regional Employment and Training (SEF).

The project aims to improve the employability of the unemployed under 25 years, in order to facilitate their employment through training and qualification alternating with productive work in the execution of works or services of public or social utility.

Ceramic C-1 belongs to the mixed employment and training program, which is the first to be implanted in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and is inspired and maintains many common elements with traditional programs Workshop Schools and Trade .

Training is on the training schedule of the following professional certificates: auxiliary operations masonry factories and covers;

facilities furniture;

stick welding and TIG;

and operations of plumbing and domestic heating.

In addition, the students of this project worker receives additional training to these specialties, like orientation, counseling, vocational information and business training throughout the training process.

The project is funded by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia, and funded by the European Social Fund and the City Council, with a total of 544,411.64 euros, of which 284,267 euros are municipal contribution.

The works carried out are: restoration of public spaces in urban areas Ceramics;

and maintenance of buildings and public areas.

The project, for one year, which ends on January 31, is divided into 2 phases:

- 1st phase, three-month training, in which students received a scholarship assistance.

- 2nd phase, nine months, in which training with work and practice are combined.

Students are hired by the City in the form of training contract, receiving a salary of 75% of SMI.

Upon completion, students will have access to obtaining the certificate of professionalism of the specialty in which they trained.
