The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura has called the XX Literary Contest of Poetry and Short Story March 8 and XVI Painting Competition 2015, pursuant to the IV Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men, with which aims to promote the active participation of women as interpreters of their own production.
The Literary Competition is open to women over 18 who were born or residing in the Region of Murcia, and tries to provide a gender perspective into the production process and cultural participation.
Has established two modalities, POETRY AND SHORT STORY, and the theme of the compositions will be free.
The deadline for entries is Friday 20 March 2015, at 14.00 and should be in the Department of Equality, located in Building The Catch, Calle Mayor, n ° 81. The following prizes are envisaged:
SHORT STORY: 1st prize, 360 euros;
2nd prize, 300 euros;
and 3rd prize, 220 euros.
POETRY: 1st prize, 360 euros;
2nd prize, 300 euros;
and 3rd prize, 220 euros.
Two second prizes in each category will be awarded.
The jury will be announced in the bulletin board of the Department of Equality and the municipal website.
Meanwhile, in the sixteenth Painting Competition 2015 may participate women and men over 18, born or resident in Molina de Segura.
Has been established mode Drawing or painting, and the topic that must relate the works presented will be: Woman.
The deadline for entries is Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 14.00, and shall be in the Department of Equality.
The awards covered are: 1st prize, 720 euros;
2nd prize, 360 euros;
and 3rd prize, 180 euros.
The jury will be announced in the bulletin board of the Department of Equality may be declared void any of the prizes.
As stated in the Tender, the Department of Equality and reserves the right to organize the exhibition and publication of participating and winning entries XVI Painting Competition.
