Molina de Segura: Key Past, Future proposes five key free tours from February to June 2015 (10/02/2015)

The Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura, for the third year in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism in the Region of Murcia, has scheduled five free guided tours, to be held from February 21 to June 13 2015.

The routes have been grouped under the key name from the past, Key future title refers, on the one hand, the Arab past of the town, and secondly, the efforts to preserve the cultural heritage linking the future and culture.

The City of Molina de Segura has opted in recent years to boost tourism structure of the municipality and its promotion as well as perform a series of actions for the recovery of its heritage, notably the sections of the perimeter wall in the Barrio del Castillo and the urban environment, where the remains of the old Alcazaba, in order to boost the historical district and turn the area into an enclave of tourist and cultural interest.

In this program are offered three different routes, Among Fireplaces, Molina Medieval and theatrical tour, distributed as follows:

Route 1 Molina Medieval: Saturday February 21 and April 18, 2015 will be held.

Route 2 between Fireplaces: Saturday March 14th and will be held June 13, 2015.

Route 3 dramatized visit: will be held Saturday May 16th.

To perform any of the visits, free, it is essential to pre-registration through three channels:

The starting point of all visits will be the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

The start will be at 11.00 and will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Both the duration and path routes allow them to be suitable for all audiences.

The first visit on offer is on Saturday 21 February.

An official guide will show Molina Medieval route.

At the end it will be a free tasting courtesy of Taberna Casa Vieja.

New for this year's Program Free Guided Tours will take place on May 16 a theatrical tour.

An actor in a pleasant represent a historical character related molinense past and, through a tour of the old town, show how was the medieval city.
