The PSOE candidate for Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero, aims to enhance the connection of the town with Espinardo campus of the University of Murcia in order to revitalize the city.
The Socialists are committed to the construction of a tramway to link directly Molina with the campus, which, according Clavero, would lead many students chose to find rental accommodation in the city, contributing to the revitalization of molinense municipality.
In fact, the socialist municipal group and presented in one of the last full a motion to promote Molina connection with the metropolitan area of ​​Murcia and Espinardo campus initiative that was rejected by the Popular Party.
Clavero also proposes to improve transport bus from Molina to the University of Murcia, with the establishment of a hotline and increasing the frequency of existing ones, in order to facilitate the movement of students residing in the city.
Moreover, the PSOE wants to strengthen the connection to the campus of Espinardo through the existing greenway, which runs through the districts of Torrealta and Ribera de Molina.
It is an alternative route for those who bet on using the bike to the University of Murcia, so the socialists pose to launch a service rental or lending of bikes for all students to have this option.
