With data in hand, the PSOE candidate for Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero, claims that "the PP government team has been reduced to less than half in the last two terms, subsidies associations women in the municipality ".

Clavero recalls that in 2007 the city of Molina approved an expenditure of 29,500 euros in grants to women's associations that develop programs or projects, but ultimately just 21,760 euros were awarded to 17 of these associations (1,280 euros each).

According to official data, in 2011 the municipal corporation authorized an expenditure of 17,500 euros for grants to these groups, while in 2014 grants were awarded for a total amount of 11,793 euros to 18 associations of women (an average of 655 euros for each ).

For 2015, the City Council has convened grants worth 13,500 euros for women's associations that develop programs or projects on equality.

"We are facing a dramatic and unacceptable cuts in aid to women's associations Molina, promoted by Mayor Eduardo Contreras, despite being a municipality in which citizens suffer greater tax burden per capita," said Clavero.

The PSOE candidate committed to reverse this situation and "give back to women's associations support they deserve."
