On the occasion of the celebration of World Earth Day, the Department of Environment of the City of Molina de Segura invites the public to participate in the First Conference of Birdwatching in Las Lagunas de Campotéjar on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April.
Through various workshops, guided tours and bird watching in their natural environment, attendees will discover these gems of Molina de Segura, and be more aware of their need to conserve.
The wetland of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar-Salar Gordo de Molina de Segura is considered since 2011 a wetland of international importance (Ramsar site called).
It is also the second largest in the presence of waterfowl, after the Mar Menor lagoon, and last year was declared a Special Protection Area (SPA).
The objectives of this conference are closer to citizens natural values ​​found Wetland of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar-Salar Gordo, and involve the need to preserve them for the present and the future.
