Molina's opposition calls for a commission of inquiry into the gas station Altorreal (05/05/2015)

Municipal opposition groups in the city of Molina de Segura, PSOE, IU-Green, UPyD and Citizens require the holding of an extraordinary plenary session on the gas controversy of urbanization Altorreal, whose permission, granted in March 2011 , it was recently overturned by a court ruling.

In this city, the groups claim that the Municipal Corporation agreed to create a special commission to investigate the facts and to establish the technical and political responsibilities related to the installation of the service station.

This request was made through a joint motion of the opposition groups in which also request the annulment of the urban form that favored the construction of the station in Altorreal, pursuant to the provisions of the judgment of the Court Administrative No. 1 of Murcia.

"The City Council appeal to desist from that judgment, according to the arguments in it, which clearly reflected the numerous irregularities in the granting of permission for the construction of the service station" is also required in the motion .

In addition, it urges the City of Molina to comply with the judgment and to urgently take the necessary measures to effectively implement the same measures.

"It is unfortunate that the government team has ignored the opposition groups and neighbors, and has persisted in building a gas station in Altorreal" say the opposition groups in the motion.

Moreover, they assert that "since 2010, both groups have claimed the stoppage record which authorized the installation of the station. The political groups presented this motion today and we did in 2011 jointly beyond initiatives that each party presented above, and the government team objected to halt the process that allowed the construction of the controversial gas station. "

And they ensure that the government team of the City was aware of the report of the Governing Council of the Autonomous Community in 2003, which declared the land where the station has been built as EP-2, social and private equipment, not CC2 Center Commercial Civic.

However, in Local Government of March 29, 2011 PP councilors agreed to license the company Disa Península SLU.

In a land described as EP2 building a gas station were not allowed, according to the ordinance.

The opposition believes it has been "full of administrative irregularities that neighbors were unheard process. Now, after four years confirms that not acted lawfully according to the procedure brought by the urban entity Altorreal".
