The Department of Tourism of Molina de Segura organizes a free guided tour dramatized Saturday May 16 (13/05/2015)

The Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, has organized a free guided tour dramatized, directed to the public in general, to be held on Saturday 16 May at 11.00.

Alvarfanez Minaya, nephew and right hand of Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, El Cid, accompany visitors through the streets of Molina de Segura recalling her figure.

During the visit they will chronicle the evolution of the city in the last millennium and how modern society is generated based on the society of the Middle Ages.

Your hand will know the story of El Cid and causes of slights and confrontations he had with the King of honor and blood, as well as the reason for the arrival of El Cid to the city of Molina.

They wander through the most emblematic of the medieval city and know how its people, their fears and their hopes behaved.

The actor who will play this character esJosé Ramon Moya (1980), actor / director and former stage.

As an actor he has participated in more than 50 stage projects, with more than 400 performances on stages throughout Spain and in France, the US, Morocco and Puerto Rico.

As a conductor he has performed more than 15 works in the last four years.

In 2015 he received the MAX Award for the Performing Arts with the Theatre of the University of Murcia and the National Prize for Children / Youth Theatre of the Spanish Confederation of Theater, Murcia FEAPS project and Caixa-PROINFANCIA.

He was also the Theatre Prize Winner in 24 Hours (Ten24).

In 2012 he received the National Theater Award of the Spanish Confederation Contemporary Theatre with LAULA Theatre and was Creajoven winner in 2010.

The visit begins in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, runs the Paseo Rosales and reaches the Plaza de la Molinera, opposite the Museum of the Enclave of the Wall (MUDEM);

Pensioner continues along the street where the Tourist Office is located;

Plaza of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption..;

and finally, the Mirador del Castillo.

The route takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
