The PSOE candidate for Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero, participated yesterday in the open discussion forum 'Molina, employment and future', attended by representatives of business, social and neighborhood groups, which made several proposals to boost the city.
The unanimous idea at the forum, which supported the Socialist candidate, is that Molina urgently needs to define a city model and initiate a process of reindustrialization, business recovery and search for new areas of development, not to mention the garden.
Clavero said "it's evident loss of influence of the industrial sector for decades Molina facing no opposition from the PP government" and recalled that "Interbarrios has drawn up a report on industrial estates and is a clear need for a business park".
He also said that it is necessary to establish a specific strategy for women and youth, the hardest hit by unemployment, and noted that "it is a priority the appropriate training for the unemployed to avoid social exclusion."
"Now more than ever it is necessary to recover Molina and we will do together," he added.
The economics professor Jose Molina said the city "needs an economic model and a process of re-industrialization. It must repay investigations Molina UMU and should be the active laboratory of the University".
The sociologist Juan José García Escribano said Molina is "desvertebrada, so we must integrate developments. Molina needs a model city and not be absorbed by Murcia".
For his part, Antonio Saez, of Interbarrios, recalled the report on the state of polygons and raised the need for a plan for the industry, while the association Reborn Huerta had an impact on sustainable development and foster the garden as an economic sector .
