The PSOE de Molina de Segura create, if successful mayor in the next election, a specialist to ensure proper assistance to the specific problems of the elderly service.
This is one of the measures which highlights the Socialist candidate, Esther Clavero, its electoral program, which improved home care and a specific program for seniors living alone are included.
Clavero notes that "seniors should have the same rights and obligations as other citizens to participate in all spheres of society on an equal basis. Personal autonomy is an essential factor for the dignity of the person."
The expansion and improvement of health services of proximity is included in the program of the PSOE: day centers, home care, tele-assistance, food delivery services, etc., in order to facilitate the retention of older people in their natural environment, with due guarantees of dignity and autonomy.
The Socialists also provide a map of elderly and dependent people destined to know the different situations of its own need for collective, involving police district.
Clavero says he also "give support to individuals and families with the provision of home help for situations not covered by the Law on Promotion of Personal Autonomy and Care for dependent persons, and the provision of technical support, as adjustable beds and walkers, to facilitate the stay in the home for the elderly ".
