The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura, in the IV Plan for Equal Opportunities and in commemoration of March 8, United Nations Day for Women's Rights and International Peace, will award the prizes XX Literary Contest of Poetry and Short Story March 8 Thursday May 28, at 19.00 pm in the Plenary Hall of the City of Molina de Segura.
Through this event, the Department of Equality aims to provide a gender perspective into the production process and cultural participation, through literature.
Free and aimed at women over 18, born or resident in the region of Murcia, in the edition of 2015 there have been 25 thematic poetic works and 35 short stories.
The event three main prizes and two second prizes for each category will be awarded.
Councillor for Equality, Reme López Paredes, expresses its appreciation "to all participating women, as in previous years, have collaborated presenting original works of a high level. I also express my conviction of the great social usefulness of this type of actions that help extend the natural presence and activity of women in all areas. "
