Other views on the work of Pedro Cano, students of the Colegio Sagrada Familia Molina de Segura, organized by the Department of Tourism of the City molinense, will be inaugurated on Wednesday, June 17, at 20.00 pm in the Exhibition Hall The shutters (on Pensioner Street, No. 3).
It is a collective work inspired by the series IX Mediterranean, Pedro Cano, inaugurated on September 12, 2012 in Cartagena and later exposed in the Markets of Trajan in Rome.
The exhibition will remain open until 28 June and can be visited: evenings, Tuesday through Thursday from 18:00 to 20:00;
and mornings, Saturdays and Sundays from 11.00 to 14.00.
Under Title IX Mediterranean, an educational program that brings students to the Mediterranean, using art and work of Pedro Cano as an educational, stimulating, inclusive, supportive and inclusive instrument is addressed.
Painting is the vehicle to meet and learn otherwise fundamental issues of cultural and social environment.
The third grade students have researched the work of Pedro Cano and his series IX Mediterranean.
They have traveled to cities like Patmos, Cartagena, Mallorca, Istanbul, Split, Sicily, Alexandria, etc., and emulating the painter on his travels, they have created their own travel journals, discovering their Mediterranean.
"We are facing a team, research and, above all, co-creation, where different perceptions of nine year olds make up their own vision about art and Mediterranean Civilizing, its importance in our past and in the future, where perhaps most remarkable is the development of their own artistic language and approach to hidden locations across other views of the Mediterranean and its contemporary relevance as a meeting place, "explains the coordinator of the exhibition Juan Jimenez Sanchez.
