The City of Molina de Segura has organized a series of events for the celebration of the National Day of Spain and the festival of Pilar, patroness of the Civil Guard, which will take place on Monday, October 12, at the Plaza of Spain (Old Town Hall Square, which, by agreement of the City Council, has recently changed its name).
Mayor presides over the acts of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares.
The activities will start at 11.30 pm in the Plaza of Spain, with the commemoration of the Day of the National Party.
First we will proceed to read the agreement that the change of name of Town Hall Square by Square Spain, majority agreement reached by the Municipal Corporation in extraordinary session on 7 September 2015. Here is determined taking place institutional speeches to commemorate the Day of the National Day of Spain, proceeding then to unveil a commemorative plaque with the new name of the Plaza.
Also, under the agreement in plenary, in the stage area located in the Plaza, a flag of Spain will be located three by two meters on a nine-meter mast.
This year we wanted the celebration of the Virgen del Pilar, patron of the Civil Guard takes place in Molina de Segura, which, following the official ceremony, about 12:00, there will be a mass campaign, that an offering will be made to the dead of the Civil Guard.
