The photographic exhibition inhabited OBLIVION, artist Juan Ceron, organized by the Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura, opens to the public on Thursday, September 15th.

The opening ceremony will take place at 20.00 pm in the Exhibition Hall of The Shutters (on Pensioner Street, No. 3).

The exhibition will remain open until November 8 and will be open: morning from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 13.30, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11.00 to 14.00;

and evenings from Tuesday to Thursday from 17.00 to 20.00, and Friday, from 17.30 to 19.30.

The exhibition features 14 photographs: farmhouses, abandoned farmhouses, empty schools, sales lonely, uninhabited spaces mills arrested ... that time has relegated to oblivion, loneliness and deteriorating hopelessly condemned, but refuse to disappear without your rage of force without its last beat of beauty.

Inhabited by the photographic work OLVIDOes aúnael historical and documentary aspect of the object portrayed an aesthetic discourse based on the strength and beauty that these constructions, despite their precarious state of neglect and still radiate and intends to emphasize the memory and value of objects and corners of our humble but infinite worth.

"When we only see the beauty in what dazzles us, in perfection, in the ostentatious, ignorant kindness and serenity of the little things. We propose here an exercise in search of beauty in the simple, in that look where we never stop , as unnoticed ... we suggest knocking inhabited OBLIVION "

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Juan Antonio Cerón (1973) contacts with the world of photography in early 2007 when, holding in his hands his first SLR camera, understands photography as a powerful instrument of visual communication and artistic creation, in which, besides to stop a moment, it can be addressed through a story to tell and share.

Mainly self-taught and enthusiastic training, performs several extension courses in the technical and photographic edition, begins with some jobs, make several personal projects still in process and focused on progress and conclude that this time presents.
