Molinenses and the rest of the Region of Murcia Artists exhibited his works in 2016 in the municipal garden and rooms Jail Molina de Segura (09/02/2016)

The programming of the Municipal Exhibition Halls Garden and Jail Molina de Segura for the year 2016 was presented at a press conference on Tuesday 9 February in molinense Hall.

They attended the First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture molinense consistory, Worship Molina López, and the General Director of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts of the Region of Murcia, Marta Lopez-Briones Perez-Pedrero.

The Department of Culture continues with its policy, and will continue to show and bringing people work plastics, local and regional artists, with an outstanding record in the panorama of the visual arts in the Region of Murcia.

As well as offering the opportunity for other artists to show their works for the first time.

The Councillor for Culture has highlighted "the exceptional opportunity to exhibit for the first time in Molina de Segura, the work of José María Párraga, thanks to the invaluable collaboration of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), the Murcia, through its Project Itineraries: geographies of Contemporary Art ".

The program for this year includes artists from Molina de Segura: Rengo, Pepe Alarcón, Luis Cutillas, José Antonio Miñano Caballero and Pedro Antonio Martínez Lozano.

And also with artists from other towns in the region: Sofia Tornero (Cieza), Tina Gonzalez Marquez (Torre Pacheco) and Nicholas of Maya (Cehegín).

JOSE MARIA PÁRRAGA: NOTES ON AN INFINITE FIGURE

An exhibition reviewing three decades of work, 60 to 90, a key artist of plastic Murcia, whose work serves as a link between tradition and modernity.

TINA GONZALEZ: CONSTELLATION

Color as the star of the show.

The works in this series we delve into the cosmos.

Interpreting from small dwarfs to the giant red, nebulae star clusters.

Movement is what we can see in this exhibition.

RENGO AND PEPE ALARCON: TRIBUTES TO CLASSIC AND CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS

A tribute to painting and ways of expressing the classical and contemporary painters from primitive African art, which then would lead to Cubism, to the current movements.

Homage to painters: Vermeer, Velazquez, Goya, Picasso, Gauguin, Dali, Braque, Joan Miró, Ramón Gaya, Pedro Cano, etc.

Nicholas of Maya: It is considered as one of the essential members of the current generation of young artists from Murcia, with his painting technique ranging from hyperrealism to figurative and conceptual art.

PEDRO ANTONIO MARTINEZ LOZANO: RETROSPECTIVE.

PAINTINGS

An exhibition he calls "symbiosis" of all his work and artistic career, a career dedicated to teaching and artistic production.

CUTILLAS LUIS GUERRERO: THE COLOR OF GESTURE

The exhibition consists entirely of portraits in which both the color and technique, seeking to show the strength of the work.

JOSE ANTONIO CABALLERO MIÑANO: COMMON THINGS

Self-taught painter, although Martínez Lozano thanked for their classes and artistic advice.

It presents a series of landscapes and still lifes, taken some natural and others helped photographs, based on the oil technique.

Sophie Turner: FRAGILE

The fragility of nature in man's hands.
