Interpretation Center Albarda Rites and Traditions of Golf Molina starts on Sunday 6 April, a program of activities aimed at visitors (04/04/2008)

The Department of Tourism of the City of Molina de Segura has launched a Programme of Activities in the Interpretation Centre Albarda Rites and Traditions Molina Field, opened in December 2007, and located at the Old Confederation of the hamlet of The Albarda.

The program is aimed at visitors and family groups, in order to publicize the town a little.

These activities take place in the center the first Sunday of each month, and consist of workshops, storytelling, narratives, legends or games.

All this to raise awareness of the importance of the uniqueness of the landscape, lifestyle and customs have been maintained for centuries and which reflect a rich cultural heritage and intangible assets.

Schedule of Activities April-May 2008

Sunday, April 6: Workshop How to harness the natural elements to elaborate decorative details, through which it will announce the implementation of the natural elements in home decor.

Sunday 4 May: Traditional Games Workshop, which aims to recover the games parents and grandparents, practicing as a family.

Sunday 1 June: Workshop Development of domestic oil soaps craftsmen to make the best use of waste oils.

Sunday, July 6: Storytelling, to awaken the imagination of children and adults, making them the protagonists of stories and games.

The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Directorate General for Infrastructure touristy, set up this center, equipped with a full-art cultural facility, where communication techniques that play with the senses (visual, tactile, auditory, etc.) facilitating the participation, learning and knowledge about the rituals and traditions of Campo de Molina in a fun, easy and fun.

On the ground floor, through the expository teaching and modern forms, is intended to convey to visitors the diverse richness of nature and life in the Campo de Molina, while spreads the knowledge we have on the intervention man resources field and the conservation of ecosystems, thus facilitating an interpretation of tangible and intangible heritage and Rural life and customs of its inhabitants.

The Upper Floor of the building includes the recreation of an old school classroom unit that reflects the educational process conducted in rural areas.

It is also ready and equipped that it can be used as a space for various activities: workshops, screenings, meetings, etc.

Interpretation Center Albarda Rites and Traditions of Golf Molina opens its doors Monday to Friday for arranged groups (schools, associations, cultural centers, etc., The municipality and the region), and Sundays and holidays, for general population at 11.00 hours to 14.00 hours.
