Molina de Segura is hosting this weekend the VI Regional Trade Show and Craft with the participation of 30 exhibitors (11/04/2008)

The Sixth Regional Trade Show and Craft of Molina de Segura, organized by the Department of Trade and Crafts molinense Hall, tempting place on 11, 12 and 13 April in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

The opening ceremony was held Friday April 11 and has been assisted by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, the Director General of Trade and Handicrafts of the Region of Murcia, Julio José Lorenzo Egurce, and Councilmember of Commerce, Handicrafts and Tourism, Sonia Carrillo Marble.

The VI of Trade and Crafts Show, organized in collaboration with the Directorate General of Trade and Handicrafts of the Region of Murcia, is composed of a total of 30 booths of merchants and craftsmen, and aims at promoting crafts from the region.

The stands can be visited from 11.00 to 14.00 and from 17.30 to 21.30 hours.

In addition, the sample has a craft market representation Guadalabiad Souk, esparto, textiles and handmade soaps.

New this year the venue of the exhibition has been extended, being outdoors all stand and activities.

In the center of the Town Hall Square has created a space for the entertainment and craft demonstrations to attract the maximum number of visitors.

SAMPLE ACTIVITIES FOR EVERY DAY CRAFTS:

Exhibition and sale of handicrafts, glass, textiles, food, decoration, ceramics, etc..

Workshops and live craft demonstrations:

Pottery workshop: building skills in pots, bowls, jugs, etc., With handmade ceramics in a lathe.

Bakery Workshop with oven and direct manufacturing.

Workshop Forge iron craftsman demonstrate their knowledge in the art of forging.

Glass Blowing Workshop, by the craftsman molinense Juan Alcántara.

Workshop distillation of aromatic plants, gift bottles of essence and tea tasting.

Pipers and Queimada Group: the music of a band of bagpipers will liven up the day of the sample with 4 performances per day: 2 morning and 2 in the afternoon.

There will be a queimada the end of each day.

Kids Corner: makeup workshops, archery, crossbow shooting, bowling, stilts, throwing horseshoes, etc.

Medieval wooden carousel.

SATURDAY, 12 APRIL ACTIVITIES:

11.00 am: Opening exhibition and sale of handicrafts.

Start of activities at the fair.

12.00 am: Demonstration Craft and Ceramic Art Children's Workshop, run by the artisan Rosa M ª Ruiz.

20.30 pm: Draw made products.

ACTIVITIES OF SUNDAY 13 APRIL:

11.00 am: Opening exhibition and sale of handicrafts.

Start of activities at the fair.

20.30 pm: Draw made products.

21.30 h.: Closing of the Show
