I ENVIRONMENT FAIR Molina de Segura, organized by the City of Molina de Segura, in collaboration with the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning of the Region of Murcia, Sercom and Association of Regional Environment Murcia (AEMArm), held on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 June, coinciding the celebration of World Environment Day.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Thursday June 5 at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the town Mayor Eduardo Contreras Linares, accompanied by the Director General of Environmental Quality in the Region of Murcia, Francisco José García Espejo, and Councilmember Environment, Consuelo Rosauro Meseguer.
The two main objectives motivate the organization of this event are: to bring together several companies related to the environment, and provide citizens of Molina de Segura an open space to the knowledge of applicable environmental products and services at home.
Thus among all contributing to sustainability in the economic and social development of the municipality and the region.
For two days public and private entities show the current developments in technology applied to improving the environment, new patterns of consumption and the measures that institutions and companies available to citizens for achieving sustainability in economic development and social territory.
The opening hours of the stands is: Thursday 5 June, from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00 pm, and Friday 6 June, from 10.00 to 14.00.
Are present in this exhibition areas relating to treatment and recovery of solid waste collection, distribution and channeling water and wastewater treatment, techniques of measurement, control and noise control, renewable energy, environmental services, urban and industrial cleaning; laboratories, management of natural resources and environmental protection as well as, landscaping and reforestation, science, research and technology transfer, among others.
Molinense The City Council has received the patronage of large and prestigious companies and institutions in different fields related to the environment, such as Iberdrola, Caja Mediterráneo, Azor Environmental Grupotec, Soltec and Restart.
They have also collaborated Aert, Environmental Molina, Aremur, Argema, Cajamurcia, Containers Murciano, Comarth Electric Vehicles, Del'Aqua, EPA, FREMM, la Caixa, Spain Mil-tek, Pd Audio, Sol Southeast and Altorreal Golf Club .
During the fair number of participating companies will be demonstrations on their products for a better understanding by and visitors.
In the context of the celebration of the Environment Fair perform various environmental awareness activities such as art discloses DAYS open to the entire population and designed to encourage social participation in policy and environmental planning of the city.
The first Conference on Energy and Environment, headed by Francisco Ayala, took place on Wednesday 4 June.
And the second conference on water saving, by Amalio Garrido, Managing Director of the Public Entity for Water in the Region of Murcia (EPA) will be held in the auditorium of the College of Education Child Paseo Rosales on Thursday 5 June at 20.00.
Also guided tours of the exhibition, aimed at secondary schools, other training programs Molina de Segura, and civic associations.
On Thursday June 5 at 16.00 hours, there will be a driving courses with the aim to foster a new style of driving to reduce fuel consumption by up to 15%.
In this way contribute to mitigating climate change impacts and thereby reduce environmental impact, as well as lengthen the life of the vehicle.
Furthermore, the same day, in the fairground, the Department of Environment will present green vehicles purchased.
