Some 100 unemployed receive training through the Common Spaces project for Integration and Use of the City of Molina de Segura (19/06/2008)

Common Spaces The project for Integration and Use of the City of Molina de Segura, funded by the Ministry of Public Administration, through the European Social Fund, was unveiled at a news conference Thursday June 19, by the Mayor town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor Development and Employment, Sonia Carrillo Marble.

This is a job placement program that aims at training and employment, finding a job and support for business creation.

With this project, which has a duration of 24 months, will train about 100 unemployed.

Is aimed at unemployed, with special attention to young people under 25 years, over 45 years, long-term unemployed and unemployed women.

The project has been obtained by the city of Molina de Segura through the 2007 Announcement of the European Social Fund assistance, under the Adaptability and Employment Operational Programme through the Ministry of Public Administration.

It has a total budget of 300,000 euros, of which 240,000 euros and 60,000 euros are funded under the municipal contribution.

9 courses are taught theory / practical:

1 - Caring for physically and mentally disabled (240 hours)

2 - Monitor sports activities (340 hours)

3 - Geriatric Nursing Assistant (340 hours)

4 - hospital nursing assistant (357 hours)

5 - Specialized care for Alzheimer patients (290 h.)

6 - home help assistant (485 hours)

7 - installer of photovoltaic systems and small wind power (390 hours)

8 - installer of solar thermal systems (390 h)

9 - Electrical Building (465 h.)

The project also is planned to develop a Local Employment Pact, which aims at finding fundamental solutions to the problem of unemployment.

Plan of action to implement this Compact are: actions of diagnosis, awareness and business development, improving the professional skills of human resources and promoting the employment of disadvantaged groups and promote the development of small and medium company.
