The Healthy City Molina II Gala, organized by the Department of Health of the City of Molina de Segura, which will present 99 distinct Local Healthy Program 2009, held today Monday 15 December at 20.00 pm in the Villa Theatre de Molina.
Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Health, Lola Vicente Quiles.

The Department of Health of the City of Molina de Segura holds the Healthy Local program, which aims to inform the public establishments that serve food pledging to maintain hygienic conditions / health optimal. Local Healthy is a voluntary program to who have been invited to attend all local hospitality, food retail outlets and high schools with the municipality.
All premises open to the public have their administrative authorization and comply with health regulations in force, receive their regular inspections and monitoring by relevant agencies.
However, from the city of Molina de Segura has tried to be more ambitious and get an additional commitment to quality, with more stringent hygiene parameters and measures of self-control of the premises to ensure their continuity over time and promote the mindset of continuous improvement within all local municipality.
Also, in the case of schools with high commitment includes the daily distribution of about healthy menu based on the Mediterranean diet and encourage daily consumption of fruits and vegetables in all children.
Locals who have overcome an established protocol have achieved the Healthy Local municipal badge, which will be valid for the year 2009 and may be renewed in future installments.
That logo may be placed in a visible setting for customers or users.
After the many inspections have achieved healthy local distinctiveness a total of 99 activities on a total of 431 who have been invited to participate, which meant 23% of total activities of the municipality:

Most establishments have applied to participate in this campaign has proceeded to hire outside firms specializing in food safety and have advised clients on improvements in their activities and have proceeded to the implementation of different programs self and records them.
During this coming Christmas will be distributed pamphlets on the town, which will inform citizens about the operations that have been distinguished as Healthy Local 2009, with details of your address and phone number and characteristics of this campaign.
The Councillor for Health, Lola Vicente Quiles, wants to "congratulate these 99 local healthy for the effort they have made to get this distinctive city and also want to encourage other local municipality to participate in the call next year.
I hope that this ambitious project will serve to further improve the sanitary conditions of the facilities of the municipality, making Molina de Segura in a reference as molinense healthy city and an example of quality of life. "
