The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General for Transport and Ports, helps associations and nonprofit institutions with ten vehicles adapted for the private transport of persons with reduced mobility, which subsidizes investment total of 245,826 euros.
The director general of Transport and Ports, Carmen Sandoval, presented today in Molina de Segura one of these vehicles to the Association of Parents and Protectors of People with Physical Disabilities (Aspapros), who visited accompanied by the association president, Mariano Manzanares.
To purchase the vehicle has been given a grant by the General Directorate of 29,900 euros, "to promote personal and physical autonomy of this group, improving their quality of life and that of their families," said Sandoval.
This is the second vehicle funded by Public Works for the company, which last year received 20,437 euros for the purchase of another vehicle adapted.
