The Ministry of Agriculture and Water provided from today through Feb. 26 at the Center for Training and Integrated Agricultural Experiences (CIFE), Molina de Segura, a course aimed at professional bonsai gardening and ornamental, technical and other stakeholders.
The course, held for three consecutive years before the great demand, addressing matters such as wiring, pruning, tools, location and irrigation, substrates, transplanting, propagation, fertilization, patterns and pests and diseases, among others.
According to the general director of Operations and Training Modernization of Agricultural, Ángel García Lidón, "the plot and didactic training of bonsai is very wide and this is the only course taught in Spain with the support of the Administration, as a rule the private sector usually do. "
Lidón Garcia also announced that soon will hold another course of bonsai in the CIFE of Torre Pacheco and students may wish to complete their training courses to participate in first, second and third grade.
Bonsai has applications in professional fields such as gardening and landscaping.
In this sense, the general director said that "the participating gardens of philosophy and cultural tradition of bonsai is very austere, have a great beauty and consume little water, which is a very important aspect in a region like ours this scarce resource. "
