The Department of Education and Culture Department of Molina de Segura, in order to promote the musical concerns of students of Primary Schools in the town, offers the opportunity to participate in the project KNOW Conservatory of Music "MAESTRO JAIME LOPEZ.
The objectives pursued through the completion of this activity are:
Increased interaction between the schools environment and the Conservatory.
Knowledge of the Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime Lopez, a building designed specifically for music education and its different spaces.
Knowledge of instrumental specialties offered at the center and timbral characteristics and aesthetics.
This activity is aimed at students in grades 2, 3 and 4 of Primary Education, considered the most appropriate to begin studying music.
Consist of a guided tour of the facilities of the conservatory, where students may observe the different spaces, and will be finding its way different practical presentations by various instrumental groups.
Each group of instruments including electric guitar and electric bass, will be in one of the spaces: classroom camera, percussion room, library, computer room, multipurpose rooms, etc.., So that the trip more enjoyable .
At the end of it, all instruments shown construed together a play.
The approximate duration of activity is 60 minutes.
The tours will be held on schedule from 09.00 to 13.00 hours, in groups of up to 50 pupils, on the following dates: 9, 16, 23 and March 30, 20 and 27 April and 4, 11, 18 and 25 May.
The institutions concerned should make reservations before February 27, indicating the hours or days, and the name of a teacher acting as coordinator of this activity.

Moreover, the Department of Education, through the Conservatory of Music Maestro Jaime Lopez, organized an exhibition of brass / metal, to be held on Wednesday 18 February at 19.30 at the center, located in Calle Captain Cortes, s / n.
This initiative seeks to promote awareness of the latest instruments and accessories from the families of the wind / metal.
