Note from PSOE:
Given the serious economic situation in the City and the announcements of cuts, the Municipal Group PSOE Mayor asked that the cuts are made in many unnecessary expenses are maintained.
In particular, the Socialist representatives are asked to refrain from the Mayor's advisor, whose services cost the City Council € 5,325 each month and celebrations consultant costs 2,500 € per month, generating a savings of almost € 100,000 a year.
Socialist Spokesman believes that we must stop these contracts, first, because they are not necessary and, second, because it is politically immoral "to the crisis is upon us in Molina" and more than 4,500 unemployed (70% more in 2008) in addition to the nearly 20 million in loans that the City has been obliged to order a few months.
The City has already paid for these contracts almost € 400,000 since 2005, which the PSOE considers totally unjustified and unnecessary because these can be public employees with absolute assurance and professional qualifications.
