El Teatro Villa de Molina has hired a new event, which includes programming from January to May 2009.
This is the FITO PAEZ CONCERT, featuring her new album I do not know if Baires and Madrid, in Piano Only tour on Thursday 23 April at 21.30.
The ticket price is 20 euros.
Fito Páez concert is something you never forget.
Her songs and her attitude on stage are transformed into each performance, making it unique because, like all great, Fito Páez reinvents itself in every concert.
Born in 1963 in Rosario (Argentina), in the late 80's Fito Paez joined the band of Juan Carlos Baglietto, then move on to the de Charly García.
Two great teachers who pushed Fito recording their first album in 1984 (Del 63), inspired by rock, jazz, tango and folklore.
In 1984 came his second album and, since then, Fito Páez career has been exemplary.
He has worked with Caetano Veloso, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Joaquín Sabina and Phil Ramone, among many other artists.
He has published essential albums like City poor hearts (1987), Love After Love (1992), Circo Beat (1994), Open (1999), Sun King (2001), Nature Blood (2003), the world fits in a song (2006) and, most recently, I do not know if Baires and Madrid (2008), recorded in Madrid with the collaboration of some of the most important artists of our music, voice and piano as well as act in this Spanish tour.
Throughout his career, Fito Paez has sold over three million records, has signed on as screenwriter and director two short films and has participated as an actor in six films, has composed soundtracks (including that of Martin Hache, Adolfo Aristarain, etc.).
This is one of the key artists of Latin American rock, always unpredictable, always great, always a musician.
