The Government delegate co-chairs the Local Security Board Molina de Segura (25/03/2009)

The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has co-chaired this morning the Local Security Board Molina de Segura, along with the mayor of the municipality, Eduardo Contreras Linares.

The meeting also participated the representatives of the Security Forces.

In this Board has been analyzing the safety of citizens in the municipality and the coordination that must exist between the National Police, Guardia Civil and Local Police for the effectiveness of them.

Among the topics discussed, the delegate has reported that 2008 was in Molina de Segura a decrease in crimes and misdemeanors of almost three points (2.93%), with a higher incidence of robbery with force decreased by 5 , 2% and in general on equity of 2.68%.

He highlighted that these data are consistent with those of the whole region, which in turn are below the national average.
