The PSOE requires the Community to rush the widening of the road Molina-Fortuna, from La Fortuna to Alcayna (30/03/2009)

Socialist Parliamentary Group will require morning to rush the Autonomous Community of the road split (MU-A5) Molina-Fortuna, the stretch from La Alcayna to Fortuna.

The deputy spokesman of the Socialist parliamentary group, Begoña García Retegui, explained the urgency of this work to provide safer roads for motorists, motorcyclists, cyclists and pedestrians.

This road is also known as the road to death by the many fatal accidents that have occurred.

The MU-A5 is a regional competition road along which 20,000 vehicles daily "what is essential to ensure its fluidity and safety," said García Retegui.

The neighbors have also called several times to solve the problem of insecurity which place them in this way.

"Many attempts"

There have been many attempts since 2007 to be carried out this work.

The Full Council of Molina de Segura unanimously adopted on 27 September 2007 a motion to that effect, by the Municipal Socialist Group.

For its part, the PSOE in the Regional Assembly submitted another motion calling for such action.

The government prevented its processing Valcárcel saying he had little traffic, although curiously the former chief Joaquin Bascuñana pledged to implement "this great project because it was essential for the structuring and the connection between the territories that form the Region of Murcia" as recorded by a statement of the CARM.

The regional government placed it after the Revitalization Plan for the crisis where it appears with a party of only one million euros for 2009.

"But a year then sleep the sleep of the righteous."

There is an agreement between the Ministry of Development, the city of Molina de Segura and the Autonomous Community to carry out the action between Molina and Fortuna.

The State has fulfilled its commitment to build the roundabout.

For its part, the City has also played its part by providing a total of 2.8 million euros, for the section between the roundabouts between Las Salinas and La Alcayna, also assuming the cost of the Project and the Environmental Impact Study.

But the community still does not meet its obligations.

Therefore, García Retegui requires autonomous community "not to dilate and to fulfill its obligation."
