A group of more than 40 people attended on Sunday May 17 on a route by the Ecological Park Vicente Blanes Molina de Segura in order to meet the park's wildlife through their tracks and traces, in an attractive and dynamic within the program feel the nature of Molina family, organized by the Department of Environment of the City of Molina de Segura.

Participants, accompanied by two environmental educators, wildlife species found to inhabit and visit the park.

Including large mammals such as foxes, wild boar, badger and marten, numerous birds, such as the crested lark, tits, laundry, kestrel, several amphibians, such as the common toad and common frog, along with a wide variety of insects .

Tracks and other traces reveal their presence in the natural environment of great biological wealth.

Wealth that is due to the favorable location of the Ecological Park, being a transition zone between the Regional Park of the Sierra de la Pila and small hills of northern Molina de Segura.

Children had the opportunity to make and take home a plaster cast with the footprints of wild boar, badger and fox.

Activity that were amazed and in which parents provided a great help to their children.

According to the Councillor for the Environment, Consuelo Rosauro Meseguer, "this activity and, in general, the actions envisaged in the communication and dissemination program of the Ecological Park Vicente Blanes have a key role in sensitizing citizens to the conservation molinense of this park and its surroundings.

They are also an opportunity to bring the natural beauty of our park to families, venturing to look the other way corner and rich biodiversity. "

Program activities Nature Feel Molina family, performed one Sunday a month, began last April 26 with the development of feeders and nest boxes for small birds.

The 14th June, from 10.00 to 13.00 hours, there will be a visit to the Hall of Nature's Landing High to see the exhibition of the geological history of Molina through fossils and minerals, and will be a workshop of decorative objects with natural elements.

The activities are free, but to participate you must confirm attendance five days before activity.
