The PSOE de Molina announced at a press conference that will take the next plenary session in June, a motion to urge the Regional Government to take necessary measures so that it can provide the "morning after pill" in health centers of Murcia Service Health.
Remember that in Spain in the last year has seen more than 100,000 abortions, and in particular in the Region of Murcia the problem is exacerbated because in less than 10 years has quadrupled the number which puts our region in 3 place only after Madrid and the Balearic Islands in the index of voluntary termination of pregnancy.
The socialist regional government recall that something has failed in sexual and reproductive health in our region.
Socialist Councillor Esther Clavero says that this measure is part of the strategy which includes the future Law on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy and aims to ensure territorial equity and equality of all women in access to the pill day later.
