The City of Molina de Segura signed six cooperation agreements with social organizations (13/10/2009)

The agreements have been signed with the Immigration Platform, Red Cross, Caritas Interparroquial, AFESMO, AFAD and the Federation of Senior Clubs Molina de Segura

The City of Molina de Segura has signed six cooperation agreements with the Immigration Platform Molina de Segura, Assembly Local Red Cross Molina de Segura, Caritas Interparroquial Molina de Segura, the Association of Relatives and Mentally Ill de Molina (AFESMO ), the Federation of Senior Clubs Molina de Segura and the Association of Relatives of Patients with Alzheimer and other dementias (AFAD), which have been signed on Tuesday 13 October, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, Mayor local, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and representatives of the nine institutions mentioned, namely: Irene Torres Rodriguez, President of the Platform for Immigration Molina de Segura, Andrés Marcos García Fernández, President of the Assembly Local Red Cross Antonio Sánchez Martínez, Secretary General of Caritas in the Region of Murcia, Francisco Aguilar Perez, AFESMO, Maria Lopez Belmonte, President of the Federation of Senior Clubs Molina de Segura and José Antonio López Gómez, President of AFAD.

The ceremony was also attended by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Worship Molina López.

The total amount of subsidies granted by the City through these agreements amounts to 97,600 euros.

The partnership with the Immigration Platform Molina de Segura is on the launch of a new Project Reception and Integration of Immigrants.

The City Council makes a contribution of 16,100 euros and the Platform of Immigration is committed to developing the program.

The partnership with Red Cross Local Assembly of Molina de Segura is on the development of Conciliation Program on Immigrant Program, with the aim of facilitating the integration of immigrants into the labor market.

Includes a contribution of 15,000 euros by the municipality of Molina de Segura for 2009.

Red Cross, meanwhile, is committed to working with the Migrant Program through the support of Conciliation.

For its part, the Cooperation Agreement between the city of Molina de Segura and Caritas Interparroquial de Molina de Segura is on Project aldesarrollo Reception and Urgent Care for Immigrants.

Interparroquial Caritas is committed to developing and implementing a Project Reception and Urgent Care for Immigrants in the town of Molina de Segura.

For its part, the local council is committed to providing an economic partnership of 17,500 euros.

The Cooperation Agreement between the city of Molina de Segura and the Association of Relatives and Mentally Ill of Molina de Segura (AFESMO) refers to the development of Project Hospitality Housing and Social Integration Immigrants with Mental Illness.

AFESMO Association, through the agreement signed, is committed to developing and providing the service of collective housing for immigrants suffering from mental illness Molina de Segura in order to facilitate their personal recovery and their social integration.

The amount that will provide the municipality is 7,000 euros.

The partnership with the Federation of Senior Clubs Molina de Segura is on the Development of Higher dePersonas activities.

The Federation is committed to develop such activities in the Senior Club Molina de Segura and districts (which make up the federation), which are: Social Welfare Association of Greater San Miguel del Barrio; Club of Sacred Heart Senior Molina , Senior Club Raft Lino / Santa Rita, Senior Club Sacred Heart of Ribera de Molina, Senior Club La Purisima de El Llano de Molina, Senior Club del Barrio San Antonio, Club of Aging Barrio del Carmen, Club del Barrio Senior of Fatima Senior Club La Torrealta de Molina Senior Club del Barrio de San Roque de Molina, Senior Club del Barrio San Jose and Los Angeles, and Club Fenazar Aging.

The City provides an economic partnership of 26,000 euros.

Finally, the collaboration agreement with AFAD is on the Care of Alzheimer and other dementias.

AFAD and the city of Molina de Segura undertake to cooperate in the care of patients with Alzheimer and other dementias in the municipality through the implementation of tasks of information, awareness and stimulating workshops.

To do this, the municipality makes a financial contribution of 16,000 euros, while AFAD undertakes to perform those tasks.
