UPyD in Vega del Segura alleges that the city council has not met the target initially create about 600 jobs through the works with the FEIL.

UPyD Vega del Segura in the complaint that the city of Molina de Segura has not taken into account as a priority the creation of employment in the municipality in the award of projects funded through the Local Investment Fund.
This fund, remember, is to promote the implementation by the municipalities of job-creating investment, so the local Consistory were obliged to take into consideration, as award criteria for the evaluation of tenders related indicators promotion of employment in the contract for each of the works.
However, job creation has occupied the last place among the criteria for award of works determined by the City Council, other scales below the amount of improvement, work process and building process and warranty period.
Following these criteria, the city council awarded the work to the company offering more jobs in two of the thirty-five projects tendered.
This has led to the creation of only 174 direct jobs of the 600 originally planned, representing just under 30 percent of pledges from both the Town Hall and from the opposition Socialists.
According to information made available by the City Council, through its website, there are blatant cases of limited direct job creation in some of the projects.
An example is in the works in schools in San Antonio, San Miguel, La Purisima, Our Lady of Remedies, Vega's Safe and Tierno Galván, amounting to 198,727.38 euros, the project has been generated only employed compared to the twelve originally planned, which were also offered by another company that ultimately no candidate won the award of the work.
Another point to consider is the procedure for the award of the work that has used the town hall, and that in most projects has been restricted.
Only ten of the projects the Town Hall has used the procedure for advertising.
This implies that most of the projects, companies that could have offered more jobs have been eligible for award of works.
Therefore, from UPyD in Vega del Segura, requesting the City of Molina de Segura developing and making available to the citizens of the municipality of a report that includes actual data of the jobs created (taken directly from the INEM) in our town with the Local Investment Fund.
