The EMAS is a system-management and environmental audit was initiated in 1995 for organizations on a voluntary basis, wish to evaluate and improve their performance in this area.

Adherence to this system of international environmental management can improve the image of the company towards its customers, management, employees, investors, media, advocacy groups, the environment and the general public.
