The president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), José Salvador Fuentes Zorita, visited, with the mayor of Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras, a new riverside promenade by the basin organization, on the banks of the Wadi Los Olivos next to the village bearing the same name.
This action complements the previous one in the same municipality CHS, commissioning in 2008 next to the village of La Alcayna.
The environmental adaptation work was carried out in two tranches of 400 meters of the 1,150 it has in total the ride, since its inception in the final round of the Ficus Street, to the A-5 that binds Molina Fortuna.
The first is about 325 meters upstream of the bridge begins the street from the figs, on the promenade of the nuns, to the renovated playground on the occasion of the municipal works of Plan E.
The second tranche of 75 meters, going from the A-5 to the end of Pump Station Wastewater Sercom.
The space walk is 1.5 meters wide with sand albero, wooden rails fitted in hazardous areas.
Also added environmental furniture such as picnic tables, benches, litter bins and bicycle racks.
In addition, space has been replanted with various species such as poplars, mulberry, elm, mimosa, pepper, oleander and Aleppo pines for the recovery of the riparian forests of the promenade in the most degraded.
