Clara Pérez Distribution Company (Madrid) presents the classic comedy Taming of the Shrew, William Shakespeare, on Friday, November 6, at 21.00 pm in the Teatro Villa de Molina (Avenida de Madrid, n º 10).

The Taming of the Shrew, formally conceived as an entertainment, is much more than the history of power relations in the marriage of Petruchio and Katherine.
This dialectic has an intense eroticism underlying charge, pointing to an echo romantic subplot, full of personality changes and disguises, in which echoes the voices of Ariosto, Plautus and Terence.
In times and prefigures Cartesian rationalism, Shakespeare brings us back to reveal, in a playful and subversive, that the idea of self is a fallacy in the human: there are always loopholes flowing overwhelmed by feelings and passions.
