Signing of Collaboration Agreement between the city of Molina de Segura and the Secretariat General of Prisons of the Ministry of Interior to comply with terms of employment for the benefit of the community has taken place on Monday 16 November, in the Plenary Hall Hall.

The purpose of this agreement, which is valid for one year renewable, is the establishment of a collaboration between the Secretariat General of Prisons and the town of Molina de Segura, for the effective enforcement of penalties for work on behalf of the community in their jurisdiction.

So far, Molina de Segura Murcia is the town that offer more seats for the performance of this measure.
In the Community of Murcia, 2,649 people have already served sentences of this type and the other 2,106 are currently serving.
Jobs for the Benefit of the Community are alternative sentences to imprisonment imposed by the judges in the case of minor offenses, especially violations of the Road Safety Act, such as speeding, driving without a license or driving with a high rate of alcohol.
For its part, the Ministry of Interior assumes the obligations to cover contingencies under the National Institute of Social Security for work accidents and occupational diseases of the prisoners, for the days of actual delivery of the work developed for the benefit of community.
In addition, the Secretariat General of Prisons assumed the management, coordination and monitoring of the sentence, through contacts with labor leaders.
