PSOE: "plummets Town Council recruitment of Molina de Segura" (18/11/2009)

At a press conference the Socialist councilor of the Municipal Group, Lola Ferre, said the PP government to scare us not to, the latest scare is the collapse of the municipal contracting has not been run about 50% of investments 2009 (about 10 M € without spending about 50 games without playing).

For the PSOE, the fact that the City would not move, that is stationary, not manage the 10 M €, which could involve the creation of 500 jobs in the short term, produce authentic chills.

More so when we are all aware that there are nearly 6,000 registered unemployed in the Employment of Molina de Segura.

When the mayor says, in "small committee" that "the best Mayor Molina, in 2009, is the Prime Minister, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, tells the truth as a big temple."

And thanks to 10.5 M € of FEIL have created more than 200 jobs, more than 20 companies in the region have maintained or increased economic activity, a number of shops and service companies have benefited of imputs generated by this fund and especially those who benefit most are the neighbors of Molina who can enjoy more streets fixed, new sports facilities, etc.

Furthermore, if the City Council had been a good manager and would have made job creation projects, it could have reached the figure of 566 direct jobs, however, only 204 have been created.

And is that something has failed Molina to create fewer jobs expected, especially when regional level has been fulfilled, and the 7,000 jobs planned ended up creating 13,000.

The Municipal Socialist Group hopes that the nearly 7 M € which correspond to the City of New Plan E 2010 the Mayor is concerned with the unemployed Molina de Segura to submit projects that really are designed to create jobs and get them out of unemployment to give life to the local economy and eradicate all poverty.

Clearly, the drop in municipal hiring is very damaging to the unemployed and businesses but the non-execution of the 10 M € produces other type collateral damage to other people who no longer will those investments (farmers, traders, patients, athletes, youth and children, teachers, etc).

Examples: roads, fairgrounds, clinics, sports facilities, purchase of playground equipment, investment in education, etc.

At this stage of the case, the Socialist Group question is what has made the PP with the loan of € 14 M was asked to make investments.

Where have gone really, those 14 million €?

It seems that no investment.

In conclusion, we support all the investment because employment is a solution.
