The new lights have reduced CO2 emissions in tonnes 286.54

The departments of Public Safety and the Environment of the City molinense have worked on replacing the old lights and other traffic lights with new technology, which reduces energy costs and improve road safety.
With the installation of new lights is to achieve energy savings of 86%, and that daily consumption of the old traffic lights with incandescent lamps was 2289.84 Kw., While the installation of new LED lights (Light Emitting Gods or LEDs), daily consumption is reduced up to 327.12 kW.

With traffic lights was above 0.877 tons of CO2 per day, with new LED lights is reduced to the 0.125 tons per day.
