The Healthy City Molina III Gala, organized by the Department of Health of the City of Molina de Segura, where 108 will be awarded badges Local Healthy Program 2010, held today Monday 14 December at 20.00 pm in the Villa Theatre de Molina.
Attended by the Mayor of the town, Eduardo Contreras Linares, and the Councillor for Health, Lola Vicente Quiles.
During the ceremony will take place the performance of Lola Combs and Jennifer Pownall, to interpret Suite Classical Ballet and Camargo, who plays Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi.
The Department of Health of the City of Molina de Segura holds the Healthy Local program, which aims to inform the public establishments that serve food pledging to maintain hygienic conditions / health optimal.
This is a voluntary program, which have been invited to attend all local hospitality, food retail outlets and high schools with the municipality.
All premises open to the public have their administrative authorization and comply with health regulations in force, receive their regular inspections and monitoring by relevant agencies.
However, from the city of Molina de Segura is to be more ambitious and get an additional commitment to quality, with more stringent hygiene parameters and measures of self-control of the premises to ensure their continuity over time and promote mindset of continuous improvement within all local municipality.
Also, in the case of schools with high commitment includes the daily distribution of about healthy menu based on the Mediterranean diet and encourage daily consumption of fruits and vegetables in all children.
Locals who have overcome an established protocol, have achieved healthy local municipal badge, which will be valid for the year 2010 and may be renewed in future installments.
This mark may be placed in a visible setting for customers or users.
After the many inspections have achieved healthy local distinctiveness a total of 108 activities on a total of 437 who have been invited to participate, which meant 24% of total activities of the municipality:

Most establishments have applied to participate in this campaign has proceeded to hire outside firms specializing in food safety and have advised clients on improvements in their activities and have proceeded to the implementation of different programs self and records them.

The Councillor for Health, Lola Vicente Quiles, wants to "congratulate these 108 local healthy for the effort they have made to get this distinctive city and also want to encourage other local municipality to participate in the call next year.
