The state-owned waters of the Segura Basin (AcuaSegura) distribute a thousand packages with 3 aerators (water saving devices) each 3000 in total, by reason of the Responsible Consumer Fair Molina de Segura, in order molinense households that have a mechanism for the taps in their homes, they get a reduction in consumption of up to 50 percent.

The devices are distributed until next Friday, March 19, at booth that the Ministry of Environment and Rural been installed at the fair, located in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Molina de Segura, and today visited the Mayor Molina de Segura, Eduardo Contreras, the president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS) and AcuaSegura, José Salvador Fuentes Zorita, and the general director of Water of the Mediterranean Basin, Carlos Massa.

The aerators have a triple strand of savings: reduced consumption of liquid element, lower power and lower spending on the water bill.

Most of the water consumption at home is done in cleaning and hygiene tasks, and, with the installation of economizers, molinense family can save between 30 and 50% of water normally spends.

An aerator is a device that mixes air and water filters replace standard faucets.

These devices have two mechanisms: one to reduce the flow of water and another to offset the decline by adding air to water flow just before the mouth of the faucet.

The water saving systems are ultimately important in the care of the vital liquid use anywhere in the world.

We therefore have consciousness in the use of water because it is a finite resource, and in certain regions, such as Spanish East, have the problem of water scarcity.
