Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in Molina de Segura reported that the Mobile Mammography Unit will be located in this town March 18 to June 2, together with Salvador García Aguilar Library (at Avenue Chorrico, n º 44).
The schedule will be Monday through Thursday, from 09.00 to 14.00 and from 15.00 to 16.30 pm and Friday from 09.00 to 13.30.
This campaign for breast cancer prevention is part of the collaboration agreement between the AECC and the Directorate General of Public Health of the Region of Murcia, also supported by the city of Molina de Segura and molinense Health Centers.
Have been cited some 3,000 women in the town aged between 50 and 69 years, eligible for free mammograms.
All women have been cited in a letter sent to their homes.
However, it is recommended to all citizens who have not received such letters to be put in touch with your Health Center or the Municipal Health Clinic for an appointment.
