The Department of Youth of the City of Molina de Segura organizes the exhibition LETRAS JÓVENES, by the artists Pablo Martínez Jiménez and Andrea Torrano Martínez, in the Exhibition Hall of the Young Artistic Creation Space (in Avenida de Madrid, n ° 68).
The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 9, at 7:00 p.m., and the exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., until October 31.
Young Letter is a poetic-literary exhibition, in which the authors have joined their works to delve into their narrative and poetic stories.
Pablo Martínez was born in Molina de Segura in 1999. He is a student of the Marketing degree of the University of Murcia.
He began writing fantasy stories in his childhood and currently writes prose and poetry in equal parts.
Recently, he has won the Crearte 2018 Contest in poetry.
In his texts appear themes such as the passage of childhood, which is lost along with day-to-day thoughts.
This exhibition shows poems and short stories written between 2016 and 2019. In them, you can see the inner doubt of a young man who questions certain aspects of life, such as death or love, through everyday situations reflected in the waiting time in a hospital or the image of children playing any afternoon in a park.
Andrea Torrano was born in Molina de Segura in 1998. He is a student of the Audiovisual Communication degree at the University of Murcia.
In his childhood he became interested in reading, and, when he was a teenager, he began writing through an application called Wattpad, which is defined as a community of readers and writers, thus becoming known for his stories and even awarded Win contests created by the app.
His most awarded work and for which he is best known is the one titled as Kassandra.
He currently continues to create stories of varied genres, such as drama, romance, psychological terror, action, and humor, and also promotes his writings through his Instagram account.
The texts that are going to show in this literary exhibition are based on real events, and it will be an evolution by phases of love to heartbreak, the evolution of how magic is broken, but also the lessons and support that can be found in the people who have always been there.
"Welcome to a very deep world in which to feel is to die, but also to live."
