The agreement includes a municipal grant of 20,000 euros
The City of Molina de Segura and the Association Hogar Shared have carried out the signing of a collaboration agreement for grants for a collective housing project for the elderly, as reported by the First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángel Navarro García .
The agreement contemplates a municipal grant of 20,000 euros, and its objectives are: to collaborate economically with this entity, which offers an alternative accommodation resource to the elderly people of the municipality who cannot remain in their habitual domicile;
and offer a place of social emergency for the elderly in situations of social vulnerability and / or social risk and who urgently need accommodation.
The Shared Home Association has other specific objectives:
Offer a comprehensive residential care service.
Provide socio-health care to the residents of the center.
Develop a program of recreational and cognitive activities.
Promote family participation and social volunteering.
Collective housing is a resource offered by Hogar Compartido and is intended for the population of elderly people, men and women over 65 years of age in the municipality of Molina de Segura, who have a degree II and III dependency assessment, and who need care and socio-health care in residence.
For this, the entity has 14 places arranged with the IMAS.
For those cases of elderly people in the municipality who are in a situation of social vulnerability and / or social risk as a result of difficulties or problems in their usual home, Hogar Compartido makes available to the City of Molina de Segura a residential care space that covers These social emergency situations.
The technicians of the Department of Social Welfare value said position based on technical criteria and the urgency of the person who needs to occupy it.
The Molina de Segura Shared House Association has extensive experience over time in the development of a Collective Housing Project for the elderly.
This new way of living together aims to keep the elderly in their environment, facilitating their individual and collective integration, as there is no family uprooting.
It is a service that guarantees a way of life similar to that of your own home, with the improvement that you have all the necessary professionals on an ongoing basis to meet the needs of the residents.
The actions are aimed at the comprehensive care of people residing in Collective Housing and are summarized in the following:
Accommodation and meals
Geriatric care,
Occupational Therapy Activities.
Stimulation and capacity building activities.
The Collective Housing is located in Calle Adolfo Suárez, n ° 29, in Molina de Segura, in a municipal public building and assigned to the Shared House Association for the realization of the project.
The House has a director, a person of administration / governor, a doctor, a nurse, a social worker / occupational therapist, a cook and 7 auxiliary health partners and physiotherapist-podiatrist (as a professional outside the entity itself).
