The City of Molina de Segura and the Foundation for Health Training and Research of the Region of Murcia (FFIS) have signed a collaboration agreement for coordinated action on the promotion of physical activity as a healthy lifestyle, as reported the Councilor for Sports and Health of the Molinense session, Miguel Ángel Cantero García.
The purpose of this agreement is to establish the terms of collaboration between the Molinense City Council and the FFIS to establish a network of services in the territorial area of ​​Molina de Segura that facilitates citizens to develop an active physical attitude through periodic physical exercise, improving their lifestyles and contributing to control risk factors related to the most prevalent diseases.
The FFIS is committed to: defining the training needs of the professionals involved in the activity;
track the activity and evaluate the impact of the effectiveness and effectiveness of the program;
and take care of the hiring of the necessary monitors to carry out the development of the agreement in the municipal centers and dependencies.
For its part, the City of Molina de Segura undertakes to: determine the characteristics that the technicians that will be part of the program must meet;
facilitate the use of municipal offices and centers that are jointly established in the monitoring commission;
and comply with the minimum conditions and requirements of safety and quality in the use of external automatic and semi-automatic defibrillators outside the sanitary field, as well as with any other obligation derived from the applicable regulations on safety and proper use of sports facilities.
The agreement will take effect from the same date of its signature and will be valid for four years, and may be extended expressly for successive years.
